Media Management & Partners is a Strategic Media Planning & Buying company established in 1991. We are locally owned and totally independent in mindset and shareholding. MM&P has a team of seasoned strategic media professionals with a thorough understanding of the market and 30+ years of experience. Our highly talented group is under the leadership of two market professionals who have more hands-on strategic experience than just about anyone else in the market. Our President, María Cristina Hermida and our General Manager, Osvaldo Ramos. Both of them have over 35 years of experience in the highly competitive Puerto Rican advertising market. We are a local company with a worldwide reach thanks to our affiliation with Local Planet, a global media agency network of the world’s leading independent media agencies covering over 60 countries. Through the Local Planet affiliation MM&P have access to a wide berth of research data as well as case studies and best business practices from around the world.
Our staff is passionate about our client’s success. As demonstrated by the latest client satisfaction survey conducted by Local Planet, Media Management & Partners achieved an NPS of 89/100. This was the top score in Latin America and ranked 3rd worldwide among Local Planet agencies. MM&P also scored the highest punctuation among Unilever’s media agencies in the Central America & Caribbean region for 2022.
MM&P offers a wide variety of services to our clients but our core services are strategic media planning & buying in both online and offline media, in depth media research, social media and community management and digital content planning/creation. Our digital team is currently undergoing varying stages of certification courses from Google in display, search, video and mobile tracks to further hone their abilities.
We plan our media strategies in a holistic manner as we believe all forms of media (digital or traditional) have to work seamlessly together and complement each other in a synergistic manner. We utilize the syndicated media research available to us to better understand the markets our clients are operating in and further complement our planning with tools at our disposal from Local Planet.
Among our clients we have V. Suárez, the leading food/liquor distributor in Puerto Rico. V. Suárez was MM&P’s first client which we’ve been working with for 31 years. We also count all of Empresas Fonalledas business units as our clients along with Plaza Las Américas and Plaza del Caribe, the biggest shopping malls in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean and Bella Group, the local distributor for Honda cars. In the retail, food and service sectors, we work with Vaquería Tres Monjitas, one of the biggest dairy companies, the local Starbucks franchise and Soft & Creamy, a soft serve ice cream chain. MM&P is also the Media Agency of Record (AOR) for Unilever in Puerto Rico. In the same sector, we also work with International Restaurant Services, the local franchisee for Chili’s Grill & Bar, Romano’s Macaroni Grill and P.F. Chang’s. Among our other clients are SARCO (local franchisee for Church’s Chicken, Krispy Kreme, Baskin Robbins and Pollo Tropical), Lionsgate Films, Welch’s, PPG Paints, Burlington Stores and United Health Care. MM&P’s average client relation length is between 15-20 years.
