Explore Real Estate in Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico offers a variety of real estate options for companies and investors relocating to the island. From greenfield sites and warehouse facilities to Class A offices and co-working spaces, InvestPR’s team will help you find real estate that suits your situation.

Find Private Property

Invest Puerto Rico has created a database of private property listings of greenfield sites, existing warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, offices and start-up facilities. These ‘clear title’ and move-in ready properties can be found in Statebook, a provider of comprehensive economic market data and information on the Puerto Rico real estate market.

Puerto Rico is also home to some of the most sophisticated industry support networks in the world. These networks can assist with renovations or help build highly specialized and regulated facilities from scratch.

Find Public Commercial Property

The Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company (PRIDCO) has a portfolio of more than 1,500 public commercial properties throughout the island, including industrial buildings, lots and raw land. PRIDCO’s industrial buildings can accommodate a variety of uses from light to specialized manufacturing, research and development, distribution centers, warehouse or industrial activities.

Invest in Real Estate

InvestPR is seeking partnerships with investment groups. We collaborate on recommissioning facilities and then market the opportunities to our global network. We are particularly interested in investors with expertise in cold, dry, and freezer storage facilities.

Foreign Trade Zones (FTZs)

There are three Foreign Trade Zones in Puerto Rico. One constitutes the largest non-contiguous zone in the United States, with 714 designated facilities and 19.5 million square feet around the island. FTZs lower costs for companies engaged in international trade and assist with being highly competitive on a global scale.

Opportunity Zones

Puerto Rico’s Opportunity Zones (OZs) were established by the U.S. Congress in 2017 to encourage long-term investments in low-income communities across the country. More than 95% of Puerto Rico is an Opportunity Zone.

Benefits of OZs:

  • Investors can defer taxes on any earnings when the earnings are reinvested in a Qualified Opportunity Fund. Any investor or company looking to attract capital and improve their return on investment.
  • By investing in opportunity zones, you help increase the bottom line of any qualified project on the island.
